It's been a while since you've heard from us. We're still here working hard to produce nature's best beef at an affordable price.As usual, we had a busy summer.It was a little drier than last year, but we got along fine and the cattle are doing great.
In September, we had our big event for the year, our annual field day and bull sale at the ranch. Ranchers from sixteen states made the long journey to Matheson to attend our sale, and for the first time a live feed of the auction could be viewed on the web. The day after the sale, I received an email from an Australian who had watched the sale on his computer at home.
A bull sale like this takes months to prepare for, and during the actual week of the sale, there's hardly a moment to rest.With that said, for us it's still the most enjoyable time of the year. It gives us a chance to visit with old friends in the cattle business and many of our bull customers. We are grateful for their belief in our cattle program just as we are grateful for the support we get from you, our beef customers. We don't always get a chance to visit with you, but we welcome your ideas and comments, and if you ever find yourself near Matheson, Colorado, give us a call and maybe we'll be able to arrange a tour of the cattle and ranch.
