Here is a picture of some tall Western Wheat Grass which grows on the ranch. This is good forage in the middle of winter when there is some snow on the ground. Once again, if you would prefer not to receive our monthly newsletter in the future, please simply reply to this email and write (Remove from List) in the Subject line.
One alert reader, Inger Ellam, wrote me to point out that one thing I mentioned in the newsletter was www.tribe.net not www.tribe.net. Here are the monthly specials for February. 1) Tenderloin Fillet Special: Of course we have to have
a Valentines Special. So, her it is! Four (4) individual steaks, butterfly
cut, 5-7 ozs. each. 20% off the regular price. Limited supply in stock. You can order the specials online this month. Just go to www.lgbeef.com and click on the special you desire. This month, we have received many very good questions through the contact us button on our website. Since these questions are quite relevant to our product and to people who enjoy healthy natural food, we will endeavor over the next few weeks to put these questions and the answers to the questions either in a FAQ (frequently asked questions) section of the site, or perhaps in the bulletin board section of the site. We thank everyone who took the time to write and ask questions as it helps us think about what is important to our customers. For those of you who are interested in Open Source software, there is a new project which seems extremely interesting. Nutch is a new open source project which is building an open source search directory to compete with the likes of Google, Yahoo, Microsoft etc. Mitch Kapor the founder of Lotus 123 (anyone remember Lotus? http://www.kapor.com/homepages/mkapor/bio0701.htm ) is on the board as are several other tech industry luminaries. The success of these open source projects seems to ride on the leadership of one individual. Linux has become an open source phenomenon due to the steady leadership of Linux Torvalds, so hopefully Nutch has someone similar who is the driving force behind this project. If they do, I would guess that you will be hearing much about Nutch in the near future. You can read more about Nutch at http://www.nutch.org/docs/en/faq.html .
Until next month! Best Wishes,
